The ocean currents bring back the whales, the winds bring migratory birds, the cold sends Canadians and the California storm track brings NW swells again with surfers riding dreams…here in Sayulita, we await the imminent arrival of high season with a lot of excitement and a little trepidation. After all, who knows what this year’s surf season will bring? Every winter sends north swells rolling our way…in some years the waves are bigger and more consistent than in other years, but every winter, without fail, the north and northwest swells come. And with them, visitors. You and your friends and family. This is your town, too, and we welcome you. Whatever you may want or need or desire from us as a destination, we will do everything we can to provide it. The ocean, we trust, will send the waves. Particularly if we pray to the great god Cowabunga, King of the Surf.

The rest–the fun, the restaurants, the beach, the hikes and bike rides and paddles and boutiques and great little hotels and bars and massages and magical beds where you will sleep and dream your nights away—all that we can guarantee.

We will keep you up to date on the waves, the weather, and everything else to do with life in Sayulita, right here. Keep your eye on the blog, it’ll help us stay in touch. Cowabunga.
